What we install

The network everything else runs on.

Gateway and firewall

UniFi Cloud Gateway or Dream Machine set up with secure remote access, guest Wi-Fi and separate networks for cameras and smart devices.

Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 access points

Ceiling, in-wall and outdoor access points placed for full coverage, not guesswork. Patio and pool deck included.

PoE switching

Managed PoE switches that power access points and cameras from one cable, dressed in a rack or enclosure.

Cable runs

Cat6 pulled through walls and attics, terminated and labeled. No cables stapled along baseboards.

UniFi Protect cameras

Hardwired 4K cameras recording locally, viewed in the same app as your network. No cloud subscription.

Sonos-ready settings

Multicast, IGMP and spanning tree tuned so Sonos, AirPlay and Apple Home stay connected room to room.

Sonos on UniFi

Sonos keeps dropping? Fix the network.

When a Sonos room disappears from the app, the speaker is rarely the problem. Sonos needs multicast and device discovery to work across the house, and most mesh systems and untuned networks break it.

We install both halves: the UniFi network and the Sonos system, configured together and tested zone by zone before we leave.

Frequently asked questions.

A full UniFi network with gateway, switch and access points is $999 installed. Whole-home mesh Wi-Fi is $549. A UniFi Protect camera system starts at $1,995 for four hardwired cameras with local recording. Ethernet drops are $175 each and a network rack is $549 when you need them, all on one flat quote.
It is almost always the network, not the speaker. Sonos relies on multicast and device discovery, so it needs the right IGMP, spanning tree and Wi-Fi settings, especially on mesh systems. We set UniFi up so every Sonos room stays grouped and found, then test each zone before we leave.
Only where it pays off. Wi-Fi 7 access points want 2.5 GbE switching and PoE+ to reach full speed, so we spec it for new builds and heavy users and use proven Wi-Fi 6 gear where the cabling is gigabit. You get a written equipment list before we start.
Yes. UniFi Protect cameras and UniFi Access run on the same gateway and app as your Wi-Fi, so one login covers the network, the cameras and the doors. We recently installed a 19-camera UniFi Protect system for a Fort Worth warehouse.
UniFi has no license fees for the network or Protect recording. Footage stays on your own recorder. If you want us to watch the network and fix problems remotely, that is available as an optional monthly plan.
Every install is covered by a 90-day workmanship guarantee. If anything we installed shifts, sags or fails inside 90 days, we come back and fix it at no charge.
