The HomeKit stack we install

Devices that actually stay connected.

Sonos, in the Home app

AirPlay 2 puts every Sonos zone in Apple Home and Siri. Music follows you room to room — one app, one voice command.

Home Hub done right

Apple TV 4K or HomePod configured as the hub, so automations and remote access work when you’re not home.

Locks, thermostat, doorbell

Yale or Schlage on the door, Ecobee on the wall (native HomeKit — Nest isn’t), and a doorbell that announces on every speaker.

Lutron + Hue lighting

Lutron Caseta switches — the most reliable in the business — plus Hue where you want color. Scenes programmed, not just paired.

Whole-home hub setup $200 · Ecobee $120 · Smart lock $105 · Lutron Caseta $240 · Hue $160 · all rates →

Support

Frequently asked questions.

We pick devices that are certified to work with Apple Home, install them physically — locks, thermostats, lighting, shades, doorbells, speakers — set up the Home Hub, build your rooms and zones in the Home app, and program the scenes and automations. You walk in, say "Hey Siri, good night," and the house responds. That last mile of programming is the part most people never get working on their own.
Yes — and this combination is our specialty. Sonos speakers support AirPlay 2, which means every Sonos zone shows up in the Apple Home app and in Siri. One app runs your music, your lights, your locks, and your thermostat. We install the speakers, tune them with Trueplay, and wire the whole system into Home so "Hey Siri, play jazz in the kitchen" just works.
A Home Hub — an Apple TV 4K or a HomePod (or HomePod mini) that stays home and routes your remote control and automations. If you do not have one, we will tell you the cheapest option for your setup, and we configure it as part of the whole-home setup.
Our standard HomeKit stack: Ecobee thermostats (native HomeKit, unlike Nest), Yale or Schlage locks, Lutron Caseta lighting (the most reliable smart switch line, period), Sonos through AirPlay 2, and HomeKit Secure Video-compatible cameras. Every one of these is a device we install weekly and can vouch for.
Whole-home hub setup and integration of your existing devices is $200 flat. Device installs are priced per item — smart lock $105, Ecobee $120, Lutron Caseta setup $240, Philips Hue $160, Sonos scoped per room. The Smart Home Starter Bundle (doorbell + thermostat + full setup) is $400. One flat quote before we start.
Yes — half our Apple Home work is rescue jobs: devices split across three apps, automations that fire at random, cameras that never load. We audit what you have, rebuild the Home architecture, and get everything responding under one roof. Usually one visit.
All of DFW — Dallas, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Highland Park, University Park, Southlake, Colleyville, Prosper, and Celina. Apple households cluster in exactly these neighborhoods, and most of our HomeKit installs are same-week.
