A scene with Lutron means: one tap of a Pico remote and your kitchen under-cabinets, island pendants, can lights, and dining room each dim to a programmed level. We set the levels with you, in the room, until each scene feels right.
Pair it with Apple Home or a full smart-home build and your phone, watch, and voice all flip the same scenes.
How much does Lutron Caseta installation cost in Dallas?
Our Lutron Caseta setup starts at $240 — that covers hub installation, switch/dimmer installation, and scene programming. Whole-home Caseta builds (multiple rooms, motorized shades, integrations) are quoted on site based on the room count and hardware list. We supply hardware at our cost or install yours.
What's the difference between Lutron Caseta and RadioRA 3?
Caseta is the consumer wireless line — easy to add, works with existing wiring, great for retrofits up to ~50 devices. RadioRA 3 is the pro-grade hardwired/wireless hybrid for whole-home builds — handles 200+ devices, motorized shades, keypads, and integrates with Crestron / Savant / Control4. New construction = RadioRA 3. Existing home retrofit = Caseta.
Will Lutron work with my Apple Home / HomeKit setup?
Yes — the Caseta Smart Bridge Pro is fully HomeKit-compatible. Once we set it up, every Caseta dimmer, switch, and Pico remote shows up in Apple Home and can be added to scenes and automations. Same for Alexa, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings.
Do you install Lutron motorized shades?
Yes — Lutron Sivoia QS and Triathlon shades for blackout, sheer, and roller styles. We measure, supply, install, and program scenes that drop the shades at sunset, raise them at sunrise, and tie them into your media room "movie mode" so they close when the projector fires.
Can you replace my existing light switches with Lutron?
Yes. Most Caseta dimmers and switches are direct-replacements for standard wall switches — same neutral and load wires, no rewiring. Three-way switches need a Pico companion remote (cheaper than rewiring). We handle the panel work, the wall plates, and the programming. Code-compliant for Dallas-area inspections.
